Nigerian reality TV star and comedian, Aderombi Adedayo, popularly known as DeeOne, has alleged that his invitation by the Nigeria Police Force is politically motivated.
The comedian made the claim in a video shared on his Instagram page on Monday morning, where he also announced that he was already on his way to the police station for interrogation.
In the video, DeeOne accused security agencies of allegedly trailing him and warned the police and the Nigerian Army to remain professional and stay out of political matters.
“My invitation was politically motivated. And let it be clear, Nigeria Police and Nigerian Army should stay away from politics,” he said.
He added, “Nobody should beg for me. You have to fight for your rights in this country. So, I’m on my way. If this will be my last video on earth, no problem. No be today police brutality don dey happen. I will face anything that wants to happen.”
DeeOne also alleged that the police were attempting to track his location, describing the situation as an attempt to intimidate him.
“For Nigeria Police to want to know where I stay, to want to kidnap me,” he stated.
DAILY POST had earlier reported that the comedian, on Thursday, January 29, 2026, disclosed that he had been invited by the Force Intelligence Department (FID) for what was described as a routine interview.
