Famous Nigerian Afrobeats star, Davido, has reacted angrily after being called out over an alleged $50,000 debt owed to a wedding planner, describing the accusation as “crazy.”
The singer made the remark on Sunday evening while responding to the allegation circulating on social media.
Reports claimed that Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, chief executive officer of the company that handled Davido and Chioma’s wedding, had called out the singer over an unpaid fee.
The viral post was accompanied by an alleged chat in which the event planner was said to have threatened legal action over the outstanding amount.
Reacting on X, Davido dismissed the claim and described the development as an insult.
“This is just crazy atp (at this point),” the singer wrote.
