Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has issued a strong warning to individuals impersonating her on social media, particularly on TikTok, accusing them of scamming her fans and misusing her identity.

The actress disclosed that a woman has been posing as her on TikTok, collecting money from unsuspecting followers and reposting her content while falsely presenting herself as the real Tonto Dikeh. She said security agencies are already tracking the suspect and vowed to pursue the matter to its legal conclusion.

Speaking in a video message, Dikeh said she was aware that the impersonator is female and confirmed that the police are actively involved in the investigation. She warned that once the culprit is apprehended, she would ensure the law takes its full course, regardless of public sympathy or pressure.

“To the girl impersonating me on TikTok, collecting money from people and scamming them, we have been trailing you and the police are on you,” she said. “You are taking my contents and posting them, not as a fan page but pretending to be me.”

The actress added that she would not be swayed by social media reactions, stressing that the impersonator would face imprisonment if caught.

“When I catch you, nobody will save you. Only Jesus will save you. You will definitely go to jail,” Dikeh warned.

Her message comes amid growing concerns over identity theft and online fraud on social media platforms, with celebrities increasingly becoming targets of impersonation schemes.
