Renowned Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has taken to social media to demand the refund of the bride price he paid for his estranged wife, May Edochie.
In a post on his social media accounts on Tuesday, Yul publicly accused May of undergoing breast enlargement surgery without his consent following the tragic loss of their first son in 2023.
In a subsequent post on his Instagram page on Wednesday, Yul went a step further, urging May to cease using his surname. Additionally, he questioned why May’s family has not returned the bride price he paid when she initiated divorce proceedings.
Yul’s statement read: “You have filed for divorce, yet you refused to drop my name. Return the bride price I paid; you and your family have refused. I have requested the return of the bride price multiple times, and you people vehemently refused. I don’t understand why.”
