Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has denied allegations that she stole $40,000 from the home of her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, describing the claim as false and unfounded.
Speaking during a live broadcast, the actress alleged that the accusation was orchestrated by Nwoko amid their ongoing marital crisis. She claimed that an arrest warrant had been issued against her and some members of her family in connection with the alleged theft.
Regina dismissed the allegation as illogical, insisting that her husband does not keep cash in his house.
“It’s confirmed, it’s true, and I’ve verified that it’s Ned. There is a warrant on everyone, including myself,” she said.
“He is claiming that we stole $40,000 from his house, yet he doesn’t even keep money at home. So how could we have stolen $40,000?” she added.
The actress maintained her innocence and said the claims were a deliberate attempt to malign her reputation.
