Nigerian businessman Olakunle Churchill has shared a cryptic message about healing and the power of confession, just hours after his ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh, opened up about her personal struggles.
Tonto recently revealed her journey of overcoming addiction, including smoking, alcoholism, and masturbation, noting that she began smoking at 13 due to her father’s influence and battled the habit for 27 years before breaking free.
On Instagram, Churchill wrote: “True confession lightens the soul, makes life easier, and gives room for peace, healing, and renewal.”

This comes amid a long-standing public feud between the two. In 2020, Churchill sued Tonto for N500 million over claims she made in a 2019 interview, alleging his involvement in cyber fraud. In 2021, he sent a cease-and-desist letter to Tonto for defaming him and his wife, Rosy Meurer. Tonto responded by questioning the legitimacy of the lawsuit and accusing Churchill of being a deadbeat father, a “yahoo boy,” and even a ritualist, warning that she would respond within 24 hours.
The post signals Churchill’s focus on healing and renewal despite the ongoing tensions.
