Nigerian singer and rapper, Emeka Akumefule, widely known as Blaqbonez, has confidently proclaimed his superiority over acclaimed music video director TG Omori.
The 16th Headies Awards witnessed both Blaqbonez and TG Omori being nominated in the fiercely competitive “Best Music Video” category. Blaqbonez received the nomination for his co-direction of the music video for his hit track ‘Back In Uni,’ while TG Omori was recognized for his directorial work on the visuals for ‘Bandana’ by Fireboy DML featuring Asake.

When asked by Tacha if he considered himself a better video director than TG Omori, Blaqbonez responded, “To be honest, I don’t think anybody is better than me at anything. So, it’s a very interesting question to pose. I firmly believe that I’m one of the most creative individuals, and if I channel my efforts into any creative field, I will undoubtedly excel. Therefore, the answer is a resounding yes. I believe I surpass everyone.”
