Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has made startling allegations, asserting that Mr. James Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian rapper Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, is distressed because his deceased son bought some property in the name of his six-month-old son, Liam.
According to Ojo, the inheritance of the late singer’s assets has caused a rift within Mohbad’s family.
Ojo disclosed these details during an interview with media personality Daddy Freeze on Friday.
She stated, “I’ve had conversations with Mohbad’s wife, his mother, and even Mohbad’s father, who shared some concerns with me. According to Mohbad’s father, there’s an ongoing dispute between him and his wife’s family.”
“He asked me to pose some personal family questions to Mohbad’s wife’s mother, most of which revolve around properties and money. One of his concerns was, ‘I bought my own property in my name, so why did Mohbad purchase his property in his son’s name? Don’t you think that’s suspicious?’
“There is a property that Mohbad bought in his son’s name.”
It is worth recalling that Mr. James Aloba, during a Coroner’s Inquest on Wednesday, claimed that his late son had informed him that his mother-in-law possessed his land and other properties.
