President Bola Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Tuesday after attending the Global Summit in Paris, France. The President landed at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport in Lagos at 5.13 pm, following his visit to the United Kingdom.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, along with supporters, leaders, and prominent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, warmly received President Tinubu upon his arrival. The Presidential Guards in Lagos also joined in welcoming him back home ahead of the Sallah break.

President Tinubu had left Abuja on June 22, 2023, to participate in the New Global Financial Pact Summit held at the Palais Brongniart in Paris, France. Following the summit, his media aide, Dele Alake, had announced that the President embarked on a “short private visit” to London, the United Kingdom.

Alake had further stated that President Tinubu would return to Nigeria in time for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, which is scheduled to take place on June 28 and 29, 2023. The President intends to celebrate the festive occasion at his country home in Lagos.

With his return to Lagos, President Tinubu is expected to engage in various activities related to the Eid-el-Kabir celebration and interact with supporters and party members. His presence in Lagos during this significant religious event signifies his commitment to connecting with the people and celebrating with them in his home state.

As preparations for the Eid-el-Kabir festivities continue, President Tinubu’s return to Lagos brings anticipation and excitement among his supporters and the APC community in the state.
