Prominent Islamic cleric, Ahmad Gumi, has offered a piece of advice to President Bola Tinubu, urging him to seek the guidance of experts before enacting crucial policies and to avoid relying on sycophants. Gumi’s counsel was conveyed through a succinct 22-second video clip that he shared on his official Facebook page.
In the video, Gumi expressed concerns about certain policies within President Tinubu’s administration that, if left unchanged, could potentially lead to the nation’s downfall. He stressed that these policies, if not revised, have the capacity not only to harm the nation but also to undermine the stability of the government itself.
Gumi’s message directly addressed President Tinubu: “President Tinubu, you have to revise your policies; if not they are going to destroy the nation and they are also going to destroy your government. Your political and economic policies, you have to review them. You have to ask people who know better and don’t depend on these sycophants.”
