Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Josephine Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has stated that it’s uncommon to find a woman who hasn’t undergone an abortion, with many experiencing it once or twice in their lives.
Phyna, who openly discussed her past abortion during her time in the Big Brother House, mentioned that some individuals attempted to exploit her revelation to mock her after the show, but she chose not to be intimidated.
In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Phyna expressed, “When I emerged from the Big Brother House, everyone wanted to gain attention from Phyna. Everyone was ready to stir up controversy. While I was in the House, there was a conversation, and everyone was discussing… Before I go back to that, regarding the issue of abortion, it’s only the person who opens up that they know, right? There’s hardly a woman who can say she hasn’t undergone abortion once or twice.”
It is worth noting that Phyna and Chichi had a heated confrontation during the “Level Up” reunion, with Chichi referring to her as an “abortionist.” In response, Phyna alleged that Chichi was a divorced woman who had left her husband and children in Benin to work as a stripper in Lagos.
