DreamPulse Media has launched the first-ever DreamPulse Tech Awards, a celebration of Africa’s most promising innovators.

The idea was born from a personal story. Founder Akin Smith watched his younger brother Bolaji build DigiPhonix Limited from their family home. Despite his creativity and resilience, recognition never came. That experience revealed to Akin the silent struggles of countless African innovators talented, determined, but largely unseen.

The DreamPulse Tech Awards aim to change that narrative, spotlighting emerging talent in overlooked sectors like FaithTech, AgriTech, and TransportTech. Winners will be chosen for their ability to solve real problems with solutions that are innovative, impactful, and scalable.

“This is more than an award ceremony,” Akin explained. “It’s about building an ecosystem that nurtures talent, connects founders to opportunities, and puts African innovation on the global stage.”

DreamPulse Media plans to expand the awards into a continental platform within five years, complete with regional showcases, innovation labs, and mentorship programs.

More than recognition, the DreamPulse Tech Awards are a call to amplify the raw brilliance and hustle of Africa’s innovators transforming hidden talent into globally celebrated change makers.
