Nigerian actress Wumi Toriola recently shared that she is open to the idea of becoming a second wife, emphasizing her focus on personal happiness. In a recent interview with media personality Debbie Shokoya, the single mother of one mentioned that her perspective had evolved, and she is now open to being a second wife.
Toriola, who has been single for a while, explained, “I used to have the mindset that I can’t be a second or third wife, but that has changed because I’m after one now. If I see an after-one like me or a widower, I will marry him. What matters is my happiness.”
She highlighted the misconception that many men avoid approaching female celebrities, assuming they are only interested in wealthy individuals. Toriola clarified that not all actresses seek affluent partners, and many have earned their money through hard work.
The actress, known for her role in Nollywood, challenged the notion that women in the industry solely rely on wealthy men for their luxurious lifestyles. Toriola’s revelation comes after the announcement on her Instagram page in 2023 that her four-year marriage had come to an end.
